19 November 2024
The fifth and final week of face-to-face lessons for the Sports Director course is underway at Coverciano, and today, 19 November, the course was very Juve-centric.
Like last year, Cristiano Giuntoli was a key speaker, as he explained the details of many aspects of his job to the students, from his professional history to his current role and the technical aspects of the team he works with every day at Juventus. “To do this job,” he said, “we must be driven by a great passion. But if you are here today, in front of me, it means you already have it. And then you need to show great personality and bravery. Ours is a very complicated role.”
Before the lecture, he enjoyed an amusing meeting with the current head of Carpi's scouting department, Riccardo Motta, a student of the course, who presented him with the scarf of the Biancorossa club, where Giuntoli worked for many years.
Stefano Braghin also addressed the audience, and during his lecture he told the students about the aspects of working at the helm of a relatively new department, but one which is rich in experience and potential for the future, such as that of the Juventus Women's First Team.
An interesting day, therefore, that comes towards the end of the Sports Director course, which has engaged the participants during over 140 hours of lessons, both in-person and remotely.
