Born in Trieste on 27 March 1989, Gama has been the captain of Juventus since 2017. A centre-back known for her leadership skills both on and off the pitch, Gama began her senior career at Tavagnacco, before spending time with Chiasiellis, Pali Blues, Brescia and PSG. She is also the captain of the Italian national team and has been inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame.
