Player Profile
Born on 25 September, 1991, Emma started playing the game at a very young age and showed early talent. Her passion and determination for the sport saw her develop quickly into one of the most promising talents in Swedish football.
The majority of her playing career to date has been spent in her native Sweden, where she won the league title with Goteborg and four cups with BK Hacken, where she played until 2022. Then, she made the move to England to join Brighton & Hove Albion and left the WSL side this summer.
Emma is known for her versatility and tactical awareness, and while she is primarily a centre-back she is happy to play at full-back as well. She is a great asset wherever she plays across the back.
She is a Sweden international as well, debuting for her country in 2019 and winning an Olympic silver medal at the Tokyo Games.
