Several Juventus Women players were in action on Friday, 30 May, representing their countries in UEFA Women's Nations League matches and international friendlies, with mixed fortunes across the board.

Italy were held to a goalless draw by Sweden in their Nations League encounter in Parma, a result that leaves the Azzurre third in their group with seven points from five matches.

They trail both Sweden and Denmark, who each sit on nine points. Hanna Bennison made a late appearance off the bench for the visitors, with Emma Kullberg remaining on the bench. For Italy, Cecilia Salvai played the full 90 minutes, while Sofia Cantore and Barbara Bonansea also started. Cristiana Girelli and Chiara Beccari came off the bench.

Denmark claimed an important 1-0 win over Wales in Odense, further tightening the group standings and pushing Italy down to third. Amalie Vangsgaard played a part in Denmark’s win, starting for the Danes.

Norway, featuring Mathilde Harviken, were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Iceland.

Meanwhile, Pauline Peyraud-Magnin and France produced one of the most dominant performances of the round, dispatching Switzerland 4-0. Viola Calligaris started and Alisha Lehmann featured off the bench late in the match for the Swiss.

Abi Brighton was involved for the USWNT Under-23s, coming off the bench to play the final 30 minutes in a late 1-0 victory over Germany.
