The Juventus Women’s First Team ensured that the weekend ended in perfect style on Monday evening, beating Parma 3-0 in Biella on Serie A Women Matchday 11.

Barbara Bonansea opened the scoring in the first half, with Amalie Vangsgaard and Emma Stolen Godo sealing the win in the second.

THE MATCH REPORT

The Bianconere’s approach was the right one from the start, and went very close to an early opener when Estela Carbonell struck the crossbar. But they wouldn’t have to wait long for the breakthrough, as in the 13th minute an Eva Schatzer corner found Bonansea who headed beyond Camelia Ceasar in the Gialloblu goal.

Juventus continued to threaten in search of a second goal, with Paulina Krumbiegel going close to doubling the lead.

Parma themselves tried to level, but Danielle de Jong was equal to Manon Uffren’s effort. Gaia Distefano also tried her luck, but shot off target.

Distefano hit the woodwork early in the second half, before the Bianconere grew back into the game.

Ceasar got caught in a problematic place as she rushed off her line and although Mathilde Harviken was able to send the ball towards goal, her effort was cleared before it crossed the line.

But the wait for a second wasn’t too painful, and second-half substitute Vangsgaard got it with a composed finish. Stolen Godo made it three shortly after her own introduction with a sublime free-kick.

And so, just like the Men’s First Team on Sunday, the Bianconere ended the weekend with three goals scored, a clean sheet, and three points that stay at home.
