Juve wrap up their Champions League adventure for the season today at 21:00 CET at the Allianz Stadium against PSG.
While the French league leaders are vying for first place in Group H with Benfica, Juve must keep an eye on Maccabi Haifa so as to finish third and access the Europa League.
The Bianconeri will secure third place should they:
- Win
- Draw and Maccabi Haifa also draw or lose
- Lose but Maccabi Haifa also lose without surpassing Juve on goal difference.
HOME STRENGTH - PSG have not won any of the four away games played in European competition against Juventus, the last of which dates back to the return leg of the European Super Cup in February 1997 when the Bianconeri won 3-1.
OPENING DAY DISAPPOINTMENT - Juve's first defeat to PSG in competitive matches came on Matchday 1 of this Champions League campaign, after the Bianconeri had won six and drawn two of the eight previous matches.
GOALS GALORE - Paris Saint-Germain have won the last group stage match in each of the last four Champions Leagues, scoring at least four goals in each of these matches for an 18-goal total.
STRIDENT TRIDENT - Excluding own goals, Lionel Messi, Neymar or Kylian Mbappé have scored or assisted (or both) 26 of Paris Saint-Germain's 28 Champions League goals since the start of last season, including each of the last 20 goals in a row .
ON SONG - Kylian Mbappé has scored six goals in the group stage of this Champions League for PSG - the second highest tally in the French club's history, while Leo Messi has been directly involved in seven goals in his four Champions League appearances (four goals, three assists) - the Argentinian has done better in the group stages only in 2016/17 with 10 goals and two assists.
