There are 26 Italian champions in the Juventus Women squad this 2024/25 season. Of those, five are just that little bit more special, and for these five club legends it is their sixth Scudetto in our colours.
Those Bianconere are Sara Gama, Barbara Bonansea, Lisa Boattin, Martina Rosucci and Cecilia Salvai.

SARA
When you think about Juventus Women, one of the first names to come to mind is Sara Gama. A captain on and off the pitch, the charismatic leader has been a real point of reference, and one who has been writing pages in the club’s history since day one back in 2017, when the Women’s First Team began.
Back then, on the day of the Bianconere’s first-ever competitive game in the Italian Cup, Sara was there.
The Trieste native, with a career filled with success before arriving with us, was a key part of the revolution that brought Juventus to the top of Italian women’s football. She also knew how to lead the squad, and continues to do just that today.
Beyond the trophies, Sara carries the values of what it means to be Juventus, she has an undeniable winning mentality, and she is an example of leadership.

LISA
“I’ll always remember the feeling I had in that moment, when the call from Juventus arrived. There wasn’t even any need to think about it, I said yes right away. I didn’t care about anything other than wearing the black and white shirt. From that day on, together, we’ve written the history of Juventus Women. The Champions League nights at the Allianz Stadium, the Scudetti, the Italian Cups, the Super Cups and, then, that trophy lifted with the captain’s armband on. I could never have imagined a more beautiful story than this, than ours.”
It’s a story that, for Lisa - the author of those beautiful words - has been written after reaching 200 appearances for the club just a few months ago. She continues to show class, talent, fight, mentality, and leadership. We’d clone her if we could.

BARBARA
The first ever.
Juventus Women’s first-ever Serie A goal came on 30 September, 2017, and it was precisely Barbara who scored it. She also scored our first-ever Women’s Champions League goals on 12 September, 2018.
She has always left her mark, and that’s before even considering the goals she’s scored in Italian Cup finals, and BB has never been shy of taking centre stage on the big occasions.
A Juventus fan since her childhood, Barbara surpassed 200 appearances with us this season, and has scored 91 goals to date.
If those numbers aren’t enough, we can only apologise.

MARTINA
“To say ‘I’m fine’ is tough, but I don’t mean just physically, because that would be a superficial answer. On the one hand, I’ve achieved things I didn’t think possible. But I’m an ambitious person, and if I’m here at Juventus there’s a reason, so I keep living for what’s still to come. I still have a lot of goals as a player and I will keep working to achieve them. That attitude sometimes robs you of your peace, but it’s also important to always have new goals and new dreams. I’m happy about that, because it means I’m in the right place. I’m not hiding, I want to win things, with Juventus, with my teammates.”
Once again, those words are not our own. Martina spoke them herself a few months ago, and in that interview you could see her pride, willpower, and hunger to live days like this - the day of the sixth Scudetto.
Martina, our phoenix.

CECILIA
Her story isn’t easy, and it never has been. We told it in our original ‘A Life in a Day’, in which we not only explained how she overcame two serious injuries, but also how as a child she had to overcome a serious illness.
But this season, Cecilia suffered another bump in the road, another injury that kept her out for months. But because she’s a fighter, a true champion, she’s back with the group, and she made her return to the pitch in a dominant defensive display away at Roma in April.
She is, once again, Cecilia.

SPECIAL ADDITIONS: MARTINA AND SOFIA
But we’re not finished, there are two other girls who have been with us since 2017, although loans elsewhere to aid their development mean they haven’t won all six Scudetti.
Martina Lenzini is a perfect example of dedication and steady growth. After winning the first Serie A title in 2017/18, Martina spent time on loan at Sassuolo and returned to Turin ready to become a pillar of the team. Her solidity, stubbornness, and reading of the game have all allowed her to be key to Juventus for as long as she’s been with us.
Sofia Cantore took her first steps as a player with Fiammamonza, but Juventus backed her from the very beginning and brought her from Brianza to Turin. Her first goal with us came on 18 March, 2018, and she then enjoyed spells on loan with Verona and Florentia before Sassuolo, then coming home. Now, she’s free-scoring and a menace to opposing teams, and now she’s a champion in our (and her) shirt.
