The Juventus Women's First Team are back in competitive action this weekend after a week off as Matchday 2 of the inaugural Serie A Women's Cup is upon us.

The Bianconere host Lazio on Sunday, 7 September, in a 15:00 CEST kick-off in Biella.

Let’s take a look at some of the stats around this season's first home game.

INTERESTING FACTS

  • Juventus Women have won five of the six games played against Lazio across all competitions, losing only the most recent.
  • The Bianconere have scored at least two goal in each of the six games they’ve played against the Roman club.
  • Barbara Bonansea is one of only two players to have scored for the Bianconere against Lazio in two different competitions (along with ex-Bianconera Sofia Cantore) - netting against them in Serie A and the Italian Cup. Only against Roma and Fiorentina has she scored against the same opposition in more competitions (Serie A, the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup).
  • Lazio could become the second side, after Como Women, against whom Eva Schatzer has scored more than one goal. Her first Juventus goal came away to the Biancocelesti on 21 September, 2024.
  • Emma Kullberg has scored two of her three Juventus goals so far against Lazio, netting twice in the same game back on 30 January 2025 to seal the Bianconere’s progression to the Italian Cup semi-final.

OPPOSITION FOCUS

  • Clarisse Le Bihan has created more chances (five) in this Serie A Women’s Cup than anybody in Serie A other than Valentina Cernoia (six). She has also scored seven of her 11 Lazio goals away from home, including against Juventus last season.
  • Lazio are the only side in this Serie A Women’s Cup to have had two players come off the bench to score (Nikola Karczewska and Noemi Visentin). Juventus, for their part, have one with Barbara Bonansea.
  • Martina Piemonte has four career goals against Juventus across all competitions, the last of which came as a Lazio player on 15 January, 2025.
