Juventus are back home for Matchday 3 of the League Phase of this season's UEFA Champions League, looking to make it three wins from three as they host German outfit Stuttgart.
Ahead of Tuesday's 21:00 CEST kick-off, here's all you need to know ahead of the continental tie:
FIRST TIME | This will be the first meeting between Juventus and Stuttgart in all competitions. The Bianconeri have however won all their last five matches against German teams in major European competitions, including the last match: a 3-2 away win against Leipzig.
THREE’S A CHARM | After two wins in their first two matches, Juventus could win their first three Champions League matches of the season for the first time since 2021-22. In addition, only once before have the Bianconeri won their first three matches while scoring at least three goals in each (in 1995-96).
TOUGH TRIP | Stuttgart have only won one of their 11 matches against Italian teams in major European competitions (4D, 6L), a 1-0 win against Torino in the UEFA Cup in September 1979. They have only won three of their last 19 matches in the Champions League (6D, 10L), after they had four wins in a row before this series between October and November 2003.
AMONG THE GREATS | Thiago Motta could become the third Juventus coach to win his first three Champions League matches, after Fabio Capello in 2004-05 (the first five, excluding the qualifying phase) and Marcelo Lippi in 1995-96 (the first four).
IN FORM | Dusan Vlahovic has scored (twice) or provided an assist (two) in each of his last three Champions League matches. The last Juventus striker to have been involved in at least one goal (between goals and assists) in four consecutive appearances in the competition was Cristiano Ronaldo between August and December 2020 (five in a row).
