After the Juventus Men’s First Team claimed a 2-0 home win over Benfica on Matchday 7 of the League Phase of this season’s Champions League, coach Luciano Spalletti and Khephren Thuram spoke.

“It was a balanced match, and we deserved what we got from it. Our attitude was always spot on, and the players did well. We struggled a little more getting the ball back in the second half compared to the first, but we got our two goals and hit the post too. There wasn’t much space in the box, so we had to really carve it out.”
KHEPHREN THURAM
“I always try to give my all to help the team, today I scored and of course you always feel better if you’ve been able to score. But today we won and that was the most important thing. When you play for Juventus, your intention is always to win, even in the Champions League, and we want to go as far as we can in this competition.”
