Juventus is delighted to announce that Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz has renewed his contract, extending his stay in Turin until June 2029, and will wear the club’s Number 10 shirt from this season onwards.
Born and raised in Germany by his Turkish father and German mother - choosing his father's nationality, with whom he has already made 12 appearances and scored one goal with the senior national team, in addition to his experience at the recent European Championships - Yildiz came through the youth ranks of Bayern Munich, who set their sights on him at just seven years of age, remaining with the German giants for a decade.
As a young talent with great prospects, he joined the Bianconeri in 2022, starting with the Under-19 team, scoring a total of 15 goals in 37 appearances before joining the Juventus Next Gen side, with whom he made his professional debut on 17 December 2022, scoring two goals.
This past year saw the Turkish wonderkid grow in leaps and bounds following his permanent move to the Juventus First Team, making his Serie A debut against Udinese on 20 August. His first career start came in December against Frosinone, topped off with a super goal to help secure the win. He would go on to score three more goals across both league and Cup fixtures last season, becoming an increasingly central part of the Juve team.
This is just the beginning of a story that will continue in Bianconero for a long time to come!
Congratulations, Kenan!
