Ahead of the match against Roma in the Women's Super Cup final on January 11 at 15:00 CET at the "Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia" stadium, Massimiliano Canzi and Martina Rosucci spoke ahead of the match against the Giallorosse at the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo.
MASSIMILIANO CANZI
"I've been reunited with the women after these days of break; I've seen great pleasure in being together and working together. It's definitely two teams of similar caliber facing each other. It's a final, and we earned it with last season's success, having won both the league and the Coppa Italia. We need to put in a great performance, and taking control of the game from the start is certainly an important factor. I have a lot to learn from my players; for me, it's only the third final, while for players like Martina Rosucci, it will be the twelfth. These women rarely get their approach and performance wrong in matches like the one against Roma. These are the easiest matches to prepare for; the stakes are high, and everyone knows what's at stake. We're a great group, a very strong team, and we like to think that others are worried when they face us."

"It's great to start the year with a final. It'll take a strong desire to win, as it's a match where you're playing for a trophy. I'm happy with the crowd; these are opportunities that must be fully exploited by the entire women's football movement. Roma is a strong team, as evidenced by the fact that they're ahead of us in the league. But we are just as strong, so I think it will be an open match, and being a final, it will be a totally different game from the others we've played against them recently. Starting strong always makes the difference. Getting it off to a good start is important because it immediately shows that you want to win and the impact you want to make. Have I said anything to my teammates? Each of us, rightly, experiences a match like tomorrow's in her own way. We need to give the right importance to the possibility of adding another trophy to this team's trophy cabinet, and I feel the emotion and value of days like these more and more."
