adidas today announces the launch of the Adizero Dropset Pro, a new hybrid training shoe in the Adizero Dropset franchise, engineered for athletes who refuse to choose between speed and strength. Built for the full demands of hybrid performance, it supports athletes at all levels, from training through to race day.

Hybrid training has created a new generation of athletes: runners who lift, lifters who run, and competitors who move from cardio to functional strength in a single session. adidas asked hybrid athletes around the world what limits and enhances their training performance, and new research reveals nearly half (49%) say their current training footwear limits performance during their workout. A further 4 in 5 hybrid athletes say they expect their footwear to support every part of their workout but more than a third say they have not found a single pair of shoes that works across every exercise in their training.
